Let’s actually test it
Instead of taking our word for it, why not just try them? Put our heaters side-by-side with whatever you’re using right now on the same machine. We aren’t interested in marketing fluff. We care about the real-world heat hitting the plastic and how much power you’re pulling from the wall. Simple as that.
The reality of the trade-off
If you’re doing high-speed PET blowing or extrusion, you need that rapid ramp-up. High wattage gets you there. But there’s a catch. When you cram that much power into a small space, you’re putting a lot of stress on the quartz envelope and the connectors. It’s a lot of heat. If you go with a high-density lamp, just make sure your cooling fans can actually keep up. You don’t want to find out the hard way that your sockets are melting. Our units are built to take a beating, but they still need the right environment to thrive.
