We used high-temp silicone gaskets to seal the chassis joints and beefed up the cable glands where the power leads enter the housing. If you&amp;rsquo;re working in a place where people are hosing down floors or the air is thick with humidity, this seal is what keeps your internals from corroding into nothing.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The problem with fogging&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Most people think fogging is just a visibility thing. It&amp;rsquo;s not. Fog is a &lt;a href=&#34;https://goldisgood.com&#34;&gt;warning&lt;/a&gt; sign that condensation is happening.&#xA;When a cold drop of water hits a hot quartz tube, it can cause thermal shock. That&amp;rsquo;s a &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;quick&lt;/a&gt; way to crack a heater. To fix this, we added a special coating to the reflector and housing. It changes how the surface handles tension, so water droplets just slide off instead of clinging to the lens. It keeps the heat flow steady and the hardware safe.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A quick heads-up on installation&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the catch: when you add all this waterproofing, you&amp;rsquo;re essentially putting the electronics in a protective shell. This can mess with the natural airflow a bit.&#xA;Just make sure your mounting brackets aren&amp;rsquo;t blocking the vents. If you choke the airflow, the control electronics might overheat. Give them some breathing room.&#xA;We&amp;rsquo;ve seen these units outlast the standard, non-rated heaters by a mile in damp shops. You stop dealing with those annoying &amp;ldquo;burn outs&amp;rdquo; caused by electrical arcs.
